TEXP@CT aims to be a response to the challenge of the digital transition and adaptation to Industry 4.0 in the textile and clothing sector. The project brings together 40 entities including companies from different industrial sectors and non-business entities of the Research and Innovation System (ENESII). IMPETUS is the lead company and CITEVE is the scientific coordinator of the project.

This pact seeks to give a significant boost to the adoption of innovative digital technologies and solutions, making the sector more attractive to global markets and to current and future human resources, more resilient, more sustainable and more sophisticated.

INFOS, fully invested in the digital transition of the Textile and Clothing sector through the projects:

  • WP4 Data Interoperability , PPS#14 T&C Digital Supply chain Management
  • WP6 Digital Product

TEXP@CT aims to develop a set of 26 digital solutions and technologies for various areas of work, including robotisation, product engineering, industrial processes, artificial intelligence, smart textiles, data sharing and digital skills.

Although this initiative is focused on the digital transition, many of the solutions to be developed make a direct contribution to the green transition, such as reducing waste and increasing production efficiency and traceability.

This project has a total investment of 46 million euros and was approved under the European Recovery and Resilience Plan.
