ERP Enterprise Resource Planning

An integrated system that manages a company's financial, commercial, production and logistics operations on a single platform.

Full definition

An ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) is the digital backbone of a medium or large company. It integrates accounting, purchasing, stock, sales, production, human resources and reporting into a single system, eliminating the manual reconciliation between disconnected tools that typically comes with unstructured growth.

In Portugal, an ERP certified by the Tax Authority has been mandatory for issuing official invoicing since 2013. For verticalised industries (textiles, apparel, footwear, distribution), a generic ERP is usually not enough: article structures with a colour-size-batch matrix, multi-company consolidation and integration with subcontractors require an ERP designed with those realities in mind.

INFOS has operated in the Portuguese market for over 30 years with the MULTI ERP, verticalised for the sectors where simply adopting international solutions generates endless customisation projects. The new MULTI Connect version adds open APIs, a renewed UX and applied-AI capabilities. For complex or multi-country manufacturing, INFOS is a QAD partner with QAD Adaptive ERP.
